Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support State License 1 Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) NIH Stroke Certification Job Details 2 years of either Stepdown Experience 1 : 4 ratio 8 beds Must have experience with a variety of patient diagnosis to include Cardiac : post cardiac procedures, A-fib flutter, stable AMIs, Respiratory : Optiflow, V-60s, no Ventilators. Diabetics : insulin drips, Cardiac drips include : Cardizem, Cardene, Amiodarone, Tridil, renal dose Dopamine, Heparin New travelers are OK if they have stepdown or PCU experience. Self-Scheduling, every other weekend required. Orientations are every other Monday, but the facility is on a Wednesday - Tuesday Pay Period, so contracts will end on a Tuesday.
