Job Description Summary
Performs primary security work in the protection of persons and property. Respond to emergency situations throughout the facility and grounds. Enforces policies, procedures and protocols of Southeast Health and ACOM, as well as federal, state and local laws.Job Description
Essential Functions
- Control and monitor the access points.
- Participate in ongoing training.
- Patrol campus and grounds for safety and security.
- Respond to calls requesting assistance.
- Monitors alarm systems and security camera equipment.
- Enforce policies and procedures of ACOM.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Education Required
- High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum Education Preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum Experience Required
- One (1) year in safety & security, law enforcement, or military experience
Minimum Experience Preferred
- One (1) year in safety & security, law enforcement, or military experience
Required Skills/Abilities
- Must be at least twenty-six (26) years old.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.
- No convictions of crimes of moral turpitude; no felony convictions; no convictions involving possession or use of controlled substances; no history of dishonesty, cheating, or evading job or educational requirements.
- Ability to think clearly and logically, use good judgment, and make rapid and logical decisions in emergencies.
- Ability to recognize suspicious behavior.
