Hi, I'm Jim Miner, I'm the Nurse Manager on 3D here at Mercy Springfield. And the question is why choose Mercy Springfield? Particularly, why choose my unit? Well, as a graduate nurse the one thing that you really need to do is you need to learn how to set a foundation for your career. Learn the skills that you're gonna need for the rest of your career. So if you come to a med-surg unit particularly mine 3D, we can teach you how to do all the things that you need to learn as a graduate nurse, and we can help you through it. When you're on my floor, you have a preceptor with you at all times while you're in orientation but you don't have just one preceptor. The whole unit is a preceptor for you. We have clinical supervisors and education supervisors there as well. And myself, my office is on the floor too so any answer that you need we're available for you.
