What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrition Site Manager position at Southeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging?
We are seeking a Meal Site Manager for the 60 Senior Nutrition Program in Oswego. The hours are 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. This job oversees the meals served and delivered in the surrounding area. A welcoming and serving attitude is required. This is a great opportunity to serve seniors in the community.
Responsibilities
- Manage the meal site
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers as needed
- Some easy lifting
- Manage program enrollment process
- Ensure the dining area meets all sanitary standards set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Kansas Department of Agriculture.
- Monitor the condition of all program equipment and facilities.
- Perform all other nutrition program duties as assigned.
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of private information
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
