Responsibilities:
- Safe and Professional Driving:
- Operate a CDL B commercial vehicle (flatbed, box truck, or boom truck) to deliver building materials to customer locations and job sites.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Safely load, secure, and unload materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Serve as a professional and courteous ambassador for the company, ensuring positive customer interactions.
- Confirm delivery details with customers upon arrival and obtain proper documentation (signatures, invoices, receipts).
- Address customer inquiries or concerns professionally and communicate any issues to the dispatch team.
- Operational Efficiency & Teamwork:
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs.
- Assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including loading/unloading trucks and organizing materials.
- Work collaboratively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and sales teams to ensure smooth delivery schedules.
