Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Representative for a 2-month contract position, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance. This role focuses on converting prospective leads into applicants by engaging with potential students, understanding their career aspirations, and encouraging them to take the next step by applying. You’ll play a crucial role in generating excitement about our programs and ensuring a seamless transition to our admissions team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with leads via phone, email, and text to promote our programs.
- Build rapport with prospective students, uncover their career goals, and highlight the benefits of our trade school programs.
- Use a consultative sales approach to overcome objections and motivate leads to apply.
- Follow up consistently with leads to nurture interest and drive urgency in the application process.
- Clearly communicate program offerings, start dates, and the advantages of enrolling.
- Qualify leads based on interest level, readiness to apply, and eligibility criteria.
- Collaborate closely with the admissions team to ensure a smooth handoff once a lead applies.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets for lead conversions and applications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of interactions and progress using CRM tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years in inside sales, call center sales, or a related role; experience in education or enrollment sales is a plus.
- Skills: Strong persuasion, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and digital outreach tools.
- Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently, manage a high volume of leads, and thrive in a performance-driven environment.
