Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team. The Clinic LPN will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting physicians and other healthcare providers, and ensuring the efficient operation of the clinic. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications and injections, assisting with minor procedures, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and follow-up care, in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and preventative health practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated and effective care.
- Clinical Support: Perform routine clinical tasks such as wound care, lab draws, and diagnostic testing (e.g., EKGs).
- Administrative Duties: Assist with scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment, ensuring the clinic is stocked and ready for daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of employment.
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 50 pounds of force
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery

- Ability to travel to multiple locations to support business needs as required
