Assistant Coach, Women’s SoccerDepartment of Intercollegiate AthleticsFull Time/Term Primary Responsibilities Coaches, recruits, and provides academic oversight of student-athletesPerforms administrative duties related to the women’s soccer programDirects the planning, preparation, and monitoring of the soccer budget; directs the day-to-day operations of the soccer office, including communicating with support staff and directing graduate assistants, student assistants and volunteer coachesPromotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvementPromotes Southeast Missouri State University through social media Performing other duties as assigned by the Head Soccer Coach or designated sports administrator
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Bachelor’s degree Demonstrated experience coaching soccer at the collegiate levelDemonstrated ability to motivate student-athletes academically and athleticallyDemonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rulesDemonstrated ability to recruit qualified student-athletesStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including organizational and administrative skillsAbility to work evening and weekend hours including travel, both in-state and out-of-stateDemonstrated ability to coordinate public relations activities and community service eventsDemonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty, community and mediaDemonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
