Assistant Football Coach-Nickelbacks and Football Recruiting Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities
- Coaches, recruits, and provides academic oversight for student-athletes
- Oversees all aspects related to the recruitment of prospective student-athletes to Southeast Missouri State University football program as directed by the Head Coach including organizing the scheduling and logistics of all official and unofficial visits of prospective student-athletes, maintaining recruiting software, managing all on-campus recruiting activities, and facilitating communication and correspondence plans for prospective student-athletes
- Promotes Southeast Missouri State University and the athletics program through community involvement
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated experience coaching defensive backs at the collegiate level
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to NCAA regulations
- Demonstrated ability to recruit qualified student-athletes
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with students, faculty, community and media
- Demonstrated ability to motivate student-athletes academically and athletically
- Ability to travel extensively with or without accommodations and work alternate work schedules including evenings and weekends
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships within and external to the organization
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
