Primary Responsibilities
- Drives campus shuttle routes, following scheduled arrival and departure times, when necessary
- Reviews boarding and alighting logs; prepares and maintains logs for recording; reviews and interprets logs for subsequent route design
- Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections record and report minor mechanical diagnosticsÂ
- Maintain a Class C Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
- High School diploma or G.E.D
- Ability to read and understand manuals, write logs and reports
- Possess a Class C Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement at time of employment
- Experience driving with Class C Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
- Physical ability to assist all passengers during emergency evacuation of the bus with or without accommodations
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass random drug screens
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service
