What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professor of Social Work Practices position at Southeast New Mexico College?
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our faculty as a Social Work Instructor. As a member of our department, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or a closely related field of study from an accredited institution with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate credit hours in a secondary discipline (Psychology or Sociology). They will be able to teach a range of social work courses, including those in Psychology and Sociology, and will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
The instructor will be responsible for coordinating, planning, preparing, presenting, and evaluating classroom instruction and related activities to promote student-centered learning and success. They will also be expected to participate in professional development activities, evaluate student performance and instructional methods, and serve as a member of the college's various governance committees and task forces.
