Workforce Development Opportunities:
As a Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Trainer at Southeast New Mexico College, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of local and regional employers. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with MSHA standards and contribute to the growth and development of our community.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and coordinate Workforce Development MSHA training programs
• Maintain active MSHA trainer status
• Meet with industry representatives to determine workforce needs
• Assess industry skills training needs and provide comprehensive evaluations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Extensive knowledge of 30 CFR 46, 47, 48, 56, 57, 58, the Mine Act of 1977, and relevant standards and laws
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
