About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Treatment Coordinator to join our team at Southeast Oral Surgery. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between patients, referring offices, and our clinical team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and families in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to messages in a timely and courteous fashion.
- Schedule appointments and manage the doctor's schedule efficiently.
- Provide cost estimates and collect patient financial responsibility in an effective and professional manner.
- Manage patient insurance information and update records as necessary.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Prioritize work against the patient schedule and adhere to deadlines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
- Medical or dental experience is a plus.
- Friendly, inviting, and professional personality and presence.
- Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with other team members.
