The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting surgeons during surgeries, maintaining aseptic technique, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during procedures, including tissue retraction, intravenous line management, and documentation.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
- Verify patient identities and operative sites, discussing surgical procedures with surgeons as needed.
- Monitor patient intraoperative status, reporting any concerns to surgeons.
- Complete patient clinical narratives, documenting medical history and treatment plans.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- BLS certification required or the ability to complete within 1 month of hire.
- At least one year of related experience preferred.
- DAANCE certification preferred.
- Licensed dental assistant preferred.
- Radiology certification preferred.
