Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.
- Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment.
- The person in this position will ensure proper ingredients and quantities are used for marination formulas and ensure marination mix is maintained proper temperature and in accordance with specifications.
- The Person in this position will communicate any issues to the Lead and/or Supervisor immediately and perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to verify the correct product, ingredients and amounts are utilized for marination mixes.
- You must be able to constantly climb stairs while carrying ingredients to dump into the marination tank.
- Basic math (adding and subtracting) skills are required to keep track of the pounds needed and dumped into the marination tank.
- Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack and must be able to obtain the pallet jack license to operate an electric jack.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a food manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot machinery effectively.
- Must have experience with the marination process and be able to manage the marination process.
- Experience with pallet jacks.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly, bend, squat, twist and be able to stand for 8 hours consecuatively.
