What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waste Water Technician position at Southeast Poultry Rogers, AR?
Immediate Opening at our Facility in Rogers, AR
Primary Function:To maintain the plant waste water treatment system to optimum standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Add chemicals, such as ammonia or chlorine, to disinfect water or other liquids
- Inspect equipment on a regular basis
- Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges
- Collect and test water and sewage samples
- Record meter and gauge readings and operational data
- Operate equipment to purify and clarify water or to process or dispose of sewage
- Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work areas
- Follow U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations
- Ensure safety standards are met
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, time efficient, self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary. Which could include weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
