Custodian

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Duties

• Perform office cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in a commercial setting, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-kept.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping.
• Carry out porter duties such as moving furniture or equipment as required.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial work or related fields such as commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and facility occupants.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
