What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Southeast Texas Dermatology?
We are a Houston-based Dermatology practice looking for individuals to join our Victoria location as we expand our presence throughout Texas. We have immediate openings for multiple motivated, professional medical assistants to join our dynamic team. We offer candidates a rewarding career in an exciting fast-paced environment. Scope of practice includes medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology (including Botox, fillers, and laser treatments). Intake/Triage
· Obtaining vitals
· Obtaining patient history and chief complaint.
· Medication reconciliation.
· Assist physician/physician assistant in patient rooms
· Assist with note taking (using easy to use dermatology-specific EMR on iPad aka "EMA".)
· Preference given to those who already have "EMA" experience.
· Assist during surgeries.
· Patient call-backs for medication refills, biopsy results, etc.
· Any other task pertaining to patient care as physician, manager, or other team members see fit.

Pay: $12.00 - $22.00 per hour
