Southeast Texas HR is a leader in recruiting and HR services and is currently seeking a Food Delivery Driver for an area hospital. In this role, the Food Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering food / meals and supplies to several locations, clinics, and facilities. In addition, this position supports all other functions of the department as needed or directed by management. The pay for this position will be $13.80 DOE.
As our Food Delivery Driver you will :
- Transport food and supplies from the main kitchen of the hospital to satellite locations on time and ensures the items are delivered to the correct locations.
- Assist with taking carts with meals and other items ordered or needed to several locations for the residents and then picking up carts and returning to the kitchen.
- Maintain a current valid Texas Drivers License and obey all traffic laws.
- Maintain the vehicles; ensuring the truck has gas and that the monthly inspection report is completed and handed in.
- Position will assist with dishes if needed and also help to put away deliveries as time permits.
- During downtime you will assist in the cafeteria with dishes and the taking out of trash, as well as mopping the kitchen floor as time permits.
