The SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory Council (SETRAC) is actively recruiting for a full-time EMS Base Station Manager. SETRAC is a 501(C3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization organized under the authority of the Texas Department of Health. SETRAC is one of 22 Regional Advisory Councils functioning within the State of Texas. The council supports stakeholders through planning, facilitation, operations, and technical assistance for Preparedness, Trauma, Injury Prevention, EMS, Stroke, Cardiac, Perinatal, and Pediatric services.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a EMS Base Station Manager, located on-site in Houston, TX. The City of Houston is a 600 square mile area with a population of over 3 million citizens. Each year there are over 300,00 calls for EMS services. The EMS Base Station is the conduit for the coordination of care for the City of Houston, by linking field-care providers, on-line physicians, and receiving hospitals. The Manager will oversee the daily operations of the EMS base station, providing leadership and coordination for effective operations. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing schedules, ensuring compliance with protocols, and facilitating communication between EMS providers and hospitals. The Manager will also be responsible for training/onboarding personnel, maintaining equipment and supplies, and preparing reports for compliance and performance evaluation.

- Ability to manage equipment and supply inventories

- 10 years experience in EMS with progressive leadership roles
- Unrestricted Paramedic License in Texas
- Must pass background check and drug test
