About Us
Southeast Veterinary Neurology (SEVN) is one of the United States’ largest independently and veterinarian owned neurology groups. Neurology isn’t just something we offer. We are a single-specialty practice exclusively treating diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles all day, every day.
Our mission is to keep families together by providing second chances to pets with neurological disease and hope to the people who love them through compassionate neurological care to patients, empathetic service to pet parents, and humble expertise to the veterinary community.
Over the next decade, our goal is to keep 70,000 families whole, ensuring their beloved pets not only survive but thrive despite neurological disease; provide the ultimate workplace experience for our team, being known for our culture of growth, collaboration, and support; and become the undisputed leader in veterinary neurology, pushing the boundaries of our field and redefining the standards of care.
About You
You’ll be an experienced and organized manager/leader who values hard work, order and building processes that work effectively and run-on time.
You’re a thorough planner who lives by the old tailor’s rule of “measure twice, cut once”. That said, you’ll be someone who knows when it’s time to move from planning to execution and has a track record of getting your work done on time and to a high standard.
Leadership is something you are good at too. You’ll be a leader who likes to get things done, but not at any cost. Your style is collaborative and inspiring, but you are no pushover. You have the skills to engage others while holding them accountable.
You exercise and use personal judgment in selecting methods, establishing priorities and arriving at conclusions. Soundness of judgment and compliance with accepted veterinary management practices is imperative. Review of work is based on established and accepted veterinary management principles through spot checks, review of records and correspondence, as well as through demonstrated ability to resolve problems independently and handle unusual situations relating to administration, training, logistics and management of the hospital.
You’re also a self-starter in the right conditions. You’re not someone to wait around for someone to give you an assignment, but you also like to be sure that the work you are doing is the right work for the right reason. So, you don’t end up blasting off in the wrong direction with projects and waste valuable time and resources.
Candidates must possess 5 years of management experience and preferably a degree in business administration. CVPM and/or an HR certification is as plus! You will be proficient using Practice Management and CRM Software, Quickbooks and Office Suite.
