JOB TITLE: Ledford Event Staff
DEPARTMENT: Student Activities and Discipleship
DIVISION: Student Life
SUPERVISOR: Ledford Center Supervisor
1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the Event Staff position is to serve as support staff for the Ledford Center Supervisor and the initiatives and mission statement of the Student Life Office.
2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete all scheduled event setups and tear downs at the assigned times.
- Includes organizing tables and chairs, retrieving and filling ice coolers, vacuuming, and any other special requests if needed.
- Sweep (daily) and mop (weekly) the basketball gym.
- Wipe down safety pads.
- Daily clean of weight room, cardio room, and fitness room.
- Sweep floors.
- Clean windows and mirrors.
- Wipe down and sanitize all equipment.
- Vacuum carpet.
- Clean entrance and exit doors.
- Clean office windows
- Sweep stairwells and lobby areas.
- Dust areas around Ledford.
- Do laundry for cleaning towels.
- Trash sweeps around the building.
3. OTHER DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES (Responsibilities/important duties performed occasionally or in addition to the essential duties of the position.)
- Must attend required semester staff meetings.
- Must be available to help with special events such, but not limited to, Welcome Week, Lunch on the Lawn, etc.
- Any additional aid to the Director of Student Life, Ledford Supervisor, and Event Coordinator as needed.
- Periodically fill in for Front Desk employees when approved by Ledford Supervisor.

- Proficient people and communication skills are desirable.
- Strong work ethic desirable.
- Punctuality is required.
6. FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
- None
7. EXTENT OF PUBLIC CONTACT
- Moderate contact with Ledford participants.
8. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and spend extended periods standing and walking.
9. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT (i.e., necessary travel, unusual work hours, unusual environmental conditions, etc.)
- Occasional late-night hours or weekends.
Qualifications
Must be a current SEBTS student.
