Overview:
SCCI is seeking a skilled Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Combat Systems shipboard operations, with qualifications as a watch-stander in a supervisor or controller sub-mode. This position is in support of future work expected in 2025.
This position is located in the following locations: San Diego CA, Norfolk VA, Mayport FL, Great Lakes, Yokosuka Japan, Rota Spain
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the execution of the system scenario program
- Providing simulator system operator support to control the simulations during training and readiness events
- Supporting loading, Verification & Validation (V&V), and operating scenarios
- Delivering post-event reports after the completion of lab events
- Developing or modifying existing documentation for scenario development, including Simulator Operators Handbook/SOP
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
- High School diploma
- Four (4) years Combat Systems shipboard experience including qualification as a watch stander in a supervisor or controller sub-mode
- Strong understanding of Combat Systems operations and maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
