Evening Cosmetology Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. for our EVENING Cosmetology Program at Southeastern Health & Wellness Institute! The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various cosmetology disciplines and demonstrate the ability to effectively teach and inspire students in a classroom setting. As a Cosmetology Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of beauty professionals by providing comprehensive education in hair, skin, and nails.

We are looking for Instructors that can lead the program Monday-Thursday from 4-9pm. Instructors will be required to be on site by 3:00pm and leave campus by 9:30/10pm.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover essential cosmetology topics in hair, skin, and nails.
• Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training sessions to enhance students' skills in various cosmetology techniques.
• Assess student performance through evaluations, practical exams, and classroom participation to ensure competency in skills taught.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters professional growth.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate relevant knowledge into the curriculum.
• Provide guidance on career opportunities within the cosmetology field and assist students with job placement resources.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Requirements

• Cosmetology Instructor License in South Carolina.
• Proven experience in the cosmetology field with expertise in areas of hair, skin, and nails.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to students of varying skill levels.
• Previous teaching or instructional experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness and stay current with industry standards.
