Maintenance Manager
Job Summary:
To facilitate the day-to-day service of machine maintenance and repairs to expedite dies and tooling through the manufacturing process, communicating continuously to maintenance personnel to achieve production schedules and quality standards set by the plant manager.
Key Activities:
1) Ensures that established practices, procedures and quality standards are maintained and followed by performing regular checks on the progress and quality of work within the assigned area of responsibilities.
2) Schedules preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment.
3) Makes recommendations for improvements to how work is carried out and recommends and implements productivity improvements and cost reduction initiatives to assist in market competitiveness and product reliability.
4) Promotes product quality and workplace safety awareness.
5) Work hands-on, side by side with personnel to ensure timely schedules are achieved.
6) Supports production activities in a hands-on manner to assist in achieving performance objectives through machine maintenance and repairs.
7) Communicates effectively the urgency to complete production on product from department to department to assure production in respective departments in a timely manner to facilitate the on-time delivery of the completed product to the customer.
8) Communicates with plant manager any interruptions in the maintenance schedule that may require the pant manager’s intervention for completion, in a timely enough manner to effect the desired delivery goals.
9) Effectively facilitates the goals of the plant manager to achieve customer product on time delivery on a daily basis, ensuring that product is on time in every phase of production to the end result.
Skills and Knowledge:
Professional level skills are desired in planning, problem solving, decision making, effective leadership and strong communications. The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and procedures and communicate effectively with lesser skilled subordinates.

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
