Duties
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build comprehensive bid proposals that outline project scope, timelines, and pricing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid for efficient estimating processes.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, bids, and contracts for future reference.
