Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Purpose
The role will provide leadership and direction by establishing clear expectations, communicating specific performance feedback, and giving timely coaching to a team of warehouse associates. In addition, this role will manage the timely movement of staff within the warehouse to ensure orders are received, processed, packed, and shipped while meeting the operations financial goals. This position will help develop and train associates to ensure a high-performing team and be responsible for the tracking and root cause analysis of efficiency and quality measures. Additional duties include the development and implementation of strategies and SOP's as well as assisting in acclimating new staff to existing equipment.
This role will also serve as a working warehouse role during times of high volume and will need to be able to perform all duties within the warehouse including receiving, selection, and shipping.

Warehouse: Physical Demands: While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk on various types of flooring, utilize manual dexterity, talk, see, hear, smell and perform repetitive movements with both hands and/or both feet. The employee is frequently required to reach at waist level or overhead. The employee is occasionally required to sit, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and climb up to 30 ft. Working Conditions: While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee may be exposed to working in indoor, outdoor, cold, freezing, heated, and wet/humid working conditions. Safety Risk Factors: The employee is frequently required to twist back and/or neck, walk on a slippery or cluttered floor surface, work with hazardous equipment and be exposed to sharp objects. The employee is occasionally required to be exposed to loud noise, skin irritants, nuisance dust, fumes and sprays, hazardous cleaning solutions and other toxins Overall Required Equipment: Various types of carts, case cutters, and cleaning supplies and equipment.
