Job Summary
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base for the Service Enablement team. Your primary responsibilities will include cold calling, prospecting, and setting up qualified meetings with potential customers across various industries. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on building relationships, driving business growth, and is comfortable with frequent travel throughout the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to potential customers in target industries
- Schedule qualified meetings for the Service Enablement Manager and sales team
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate notes on prospect interactions
- Follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and guide them through the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with the Service Enablement Manager to understand customer needs and offer tailored service solutions
- Track and report key metrics on cold-calling, lead generation, and meeting success
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients
- Highly self-motivated with the discipline to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals
- Experience in cold calling or inside sales is a plus; however, we are open to training the right candidate
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
- Basic proficiency in CRM systems; experience with NetSuite or Oracle platforms is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- A relevant college degree or prior customer-facing sales experience is preferred
