Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Athletics invites applications for the position of Director of Academic Support Services for Athletics. The successful candidate will assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Support Services in developing, implementing, and evaluating all aspects of the academic support program for student athletes. The broad purpose of this position is to assist in providing a well-rounded academic program for all student-athletes while creating effective strategies to address the needs of the at-risk population. This position currently has oversight of academics for our football program.Administratively, this position oversees the day-to-day operations of the academic facility, including managing service requests, addressing technology needs through help desk submissions, monitoring and replenishing supplies, and ensuring the overall functionality and efficiency of the space to support staff and student needs.
Occasional after hours work required to accommodate Academic Center extended hours.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree from an accredited university
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations in Division 1 Athletics
