Responsibilities:
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses related to effective instructional practices
• Advise teacher candidates
• Maintain regular office hours
• Participate in service to the University, College, and community
• Engage in research and scholarship, including publishing papers and presenting at conferences
Requirements:
• Earned doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Research, or Educational Leadership, or a related discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in methods and/or curriculum development courses from an accredited university by hire date
• Teaching experience in education
• Experience observing and scoring lessons using rubrics
Preferred qualifications include teacher certification, 3 years of experience teaching in Grades PreK-12 settings, and research interests in areas such as curriculum development, program redesign, instructional strategies, school improvement, or assessment.
