Additional Information
Associate or Technical degree is preferred with 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or 5 years of work experience. Mechanical and electronic experience repairing and maintaining metal stamping and fabrication equipment (punch press, press brakes, lasers etc) is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This position requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. This position may require pulling, pushing, bending and stooping as needed. Appropriate attire and devices are available to assist if needed. This position requires sitting, filing, typing and bending. Some use of computer and keyboarding is necessary to perform the clerical functions of the position.
WORK ENVIROMENT: Majority of physical work location is spent in the manufacturing plant. General production noise is encountered continuously throughout the workday. Earplugs, safety glasses and steel-toe footwear are required. Temperatures in production vary and become extreme at times based on general weather temperature and conditions. There is exposure to heat, dust, operating machinery and noise. Work environment consists of daily exposure to manufacturing/production noise and odors as well as time in office at a desk preparing or studying blueprints. Exposure to overhead and fluorescent lighting for maximum visual job performance is required.
