Position: Team Lead Operator (2nd Shift)
Location: Southeastern Paperboard
Hourly Rate: $22 - $26 per hour $2 2nd shift premium
Shift: 2nd Shift 4:00pm-12:00am Monday-Friday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Team Lead Operator to oversee production operations during the 2nd shift. This role is responsible for leading a team, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet company objectives.
- Train and mentor operators on best practices, safety, and machine operation.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow as needed.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance when necessary.
- Enforce safety guidelines and ensure a clean work environment.
- Report production data and issues to management.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment required.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate and understand production machinery.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work 2nd shift and occasional overtime as needed.
