Machine Operator / Printing Press Operator
Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting machines, operating equipment within set guidelines, and maintaining high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect machines and products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Operate equipment and machines following established guidelines to maintain product quality.
- Organize process areas to increase production, reduce safety risks, and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve machine reliability and reduce downtime.
- Load and unload web-fed paper rolls, ensuring correct material handling.
- Learn and differentiate between various paper grades to ensure proper usage.
- Collect and inspect random samples during print runs, making necessary adjustments for quality control.
- Adjust and maintain coater operations to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor paper feeds through press cylinders, adjusting feed and tension controls as needed.
- Input production job settings into workstation terminals to control automated coating and printing systems.
- Load presses with paper and adjust settings based on paper size and job specifications.
- Operate machines safely and productively, adhering to all company safety protocols.
