OVERALL DESCRIPTION
THIS OPENING IS AT FRANKFORD
As an experienced vehicle body mechanic, inspects, analyzes, estimates scope of work and repairs vehicles and equipment.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIES
- Inspects, analyzes collision damage and estimates scope of work.
- Repairs vehicles and equipment to include removal and installation of interior and exterior body components ( panels, bumpers, skins, access doors, windows, trim, floors and coverages, set frames, etc.)
- Makes collision repairs such as applying body filler, straightening metal panels, underframes and brackets.
- Patches, splices; dresses to finish by grinding, sanding, filing.
- Cleans, file, sands, and primes exterior and interior parts. Paints / blends, enamel and urethane finish on body surfaces.
- Removes and replaces electrical and pneumatic parts, shafts, rollers and tracks, rehang doors and posts.
- Chips, scrapes, grinds rust from structural steel framework. Cuts, fabricates and replaces structural components. Use all types of welding, cutting, and joining equipment.
