Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA) is currently recruiting for Security Attendants to join our team at our Regional Landfill in Suffolk, VA.

Position Overview
Perform foot and motor patrol, ensuring the safety of personnel and maintaining the integrity of equipment and building throughout the facility.
Work is performed under regular supervision, who may not be always physically present. Must be available for shift work.
Available shifts: 6, 10 & 12 hour shifts
Experience & Education
· Required Education - Completion of high school or equivalent combination of experience and training which provide 6 months of prior security experience
· Preferred Experience – Previous security and/or fire watch training/ experience
· Required Licenses - Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required to operate SPSA owned or leased vehicles.
An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
Employment Verifications & Screening
This position requires passing a post-offer physical-medical examination, drug screening, criminal background check and driving record report.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.43 - $21.79 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
