Area Supervisor

We currently have a full-time position available for a Lead Cleaner for our Janitorial division. This position is a key member of the leadership team and plays a critical role in ensuring cleanliness and driving quality & productivity in field operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work: Detail cleaning, and assisting staff to complete daily tasks.
• Shift Assistance: Assure all responsibilities are complete if staff is absent
• Safety: Train and enforce procedures and policies
• Quality: Ensure work is performed to the level of quality required to satisfy clients
• Create Capability: Create capability within the crews through training, instruction, education, correction and follow-up
• Productivity: Ensure all crews are working productively and consistent with the company's production system. Ensure every crew has a good plan and is working that plan. This includes proper scope/spec, sequence of tasks, correct number of laborers, personnel qualifications, training and certification for the job, proper equipment, and man hour targets
• Equipment: Support mechanic's programs for preventative maintenance, repair procedures, safety and function inspections, and inventory systems
• Deliver a timely response to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred 3-5 years of Janitorial experience
• Communicate effectively, written and verbal, in English. Spanish is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of appropriate maintenance techniques, training cleaning methods and common issues
• A demonstrated interest and ability in developing staff and crew
• Creative problem solver with capacity to innovate and initiate
• High-integrity leader who commands respect from crew leaders and account managers
• Team orientated
• Leadership oriented, comfortable directing others
• Prepared to lead by example, "roll-up the sleeves" and do what it takes to get the job done
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and other software skills is a required

Pay: From $41,600.00 per year
