Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Machine Assembly Technician to join our assembly team for automated machinery and robotic equipment. The team has a variety of functions from assembly, machining and fabrication, and panel builds and wiring. We are seeking someone who takes the initiative, eagerly contributes to overall team performance, enjoys providing technical assistance, and continually seeks to improve processes and standards. Our manufacturing team works very closely with our design and engineering team, so a willingness to work in a collaborative space is crucial.
Job Responsibilities:
Machine assembly
Metal fabrication, welding and machining
Wire industrial control panels
Read and interpret machine diagrams/drawings and electrical schematics to manufacture parts, wire panels, and assemble machines
Travel to customers’ location to help install, test, and debug machinery
Preferred Skills/Experience
5-10 years of experience in custom machine and robotic build environment
Technical degree and/or relevant industry experience
Prior leadership experience is desired
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent attention to detail, and has a willingness to learn new technologies quickly as our team continually adapts to new systems and processes
Ability to travel domestically
Work Environment
We work in a typical warehouse environment.
Exposure to some fluctuating temperatures & moderate to high levels of noise
Requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs & extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, etc.
Most work is onsite with the some travel to install sites
