Southeastern Timber Products is searching for talented and qualified Industrial electricians who have proven experience with industrial electrical systems and repairs. This role would require the personnel to be responsible for preventive maintenance, electrical device’s/component’s repair, understanding electrical schematics / drawings, interpreting blueprints, installing/replacing electrical equipment including but not limited to VFD’s, motor starters and Field devices/Photo Eyes, troubleshooting machine breakdowns using Allen Bradley PLC, assisting mill rights when needed etc.
The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of Low and High voltage circuits ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC, Basic PLC knowledge and navigation skills, Strong troubleshooting skills including hardwired electrical circuits as well as PLC based, very good communication skills, self-motivated individual who always keeps safety first.

Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Industrial electrician or similar job.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to work Flexible schedule. Current schedule is 4 on 4 off swing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 Year associate’s degree Electrical Technology.
- Work history in a sawmill or wood product manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer knowledge using, word, excel, outlook and teams.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
- Experience with computerized maintenance software systems for work order processing and spare parts.
- PLC Studio 5000 training courses.
- Knowledgeable use of Multimeter and Mega Meter instruments for troubleshooting and testing electrical components.
