Essential Functions
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist with patient safety
- Therapeutic communication skills
- Documentation in patient record
- Group facilitation
- Crisis intervention
- Keep updated admission/discharge logs
- Ordering of patient supplies (patient/office/food)
- Transcribing of orders
- Sitting with patients
- Secretarial duties
- Any other duties as needed to drive to the Vision, fulfill the Mission, and abide by the Values of the organization
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Upon Hire required
- Current CNA or PCT, attended an approved UAP training course or has documented work experience as a CNA, EMT or surgical tech in the past three years as noted in state regulations
