Taproom Server

SouthEnd Brewing Co is looking for a part-time Server to join our team in Greensboro, NC.

Join SouthEnd Brewing Co in Downtown Greensboro. SouthEnd is a small (~1000 barrels a year) brewery in the "south end" of Downtown Greensboro offering great craft beer, wine, and food. We are open evenings Monday through Thursday and daily Friday through Sunday.

Taproom Servers are responsible for taking orders, running food, bussing tables, prepping food, assisting in executing orders, cleaning the kitchen and taproom, and assisting in events. We do not provide table service. Minimum pay is a guaranteed $14/hr, pay is set at a base rate tip pool, the total hourly rate can reach around $18-$22/hr or more depending on shifts. There is no maximum hourly rate.

Our servers are responsible for the accuracy of order taking from customers and keeping a clean taproom environment. They also assist the kitchen and bar staff with various duties for opening and closing the taproom daily.

Employees with a certain minimum hours a week are eligible for health insurance. All employees are eligible for a discount on food and merchandise.

Hours:
Part-time (minimum of 15 hours per week)
Day shift (11am to 6pm) and/or Night shift (4pm - 11pm)

• Most Weekends
• Must be available to work on some holidays (off Thanksgiving & Christmas)

Required Skills:
Excellent customer service skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Flexibility to work around various events and holidays
• Basic math skills are required for this position. We are also looking for someone with a basic understanding of cash handling.
