About the Role:
As a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in our compounding pharmacy, working closely with pharmacists to fulfill medication orders, specifically weight loss medications, for healthcare providers across the United States. Your work directly impacts the well-being of patients of all ages.
Responsibilities:
Your Mission Includes:
-Accurately dispensing medication and fulfilling medication orders by preparing, packaging, and labeling medication bottles, vials, and oral suspensions.
-Tracking and managing medication inventory to ensure availability and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
-Ensuring timely and precise medication distribution to healthcare providers.
-Maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and cleanliness standards.
-Monitoring and replenishing medication supplies as needed.
-Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the State Board of Pharmacy in Texas.
-CPHT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (preferred).
-Experience in a pharmacy setting, with a strong emphasis on compounding and fulfillment roles.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
-Punctuality and adaptability to changing priorities.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
- Benefits: Medical and dental after 90 days (only for W-2 hires, not candidates employed by staffing agencies since they are on a contract basis)
- Bonus based on company and personnel performance
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks/80 hours of PTO provided after the first year of employment (only applies to W-2 employees, not people coming from staffing agencies)
Additional Information:
This position is full-time with the opportunity for contract-to-hire after 13 weeks. We offer day shift options with local travel requirements. We are looking to fill multiple positions for Fulfillment Pharmacy Technicians.
