About the Role:
As part of our shipping team, you’ll handle crucial tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our shipping department. Primary Responsibilities:
Efficiency in Action: You'll be tasked with printing shipping labels and packaging prescriptions with precision and speed, ensuring that every detail is correct to meet our high standards of patient care.
Resource Readiness: Maintain a steady supply of essential shipping materials such as envelopes, labels, and ice packs, ensuring we’re always prepared to deliver.
Product Integrity: Prepare ice packs by freezing them in advance to keep our pharmaceutical products safe and effective throughout transit.
Safety and Precision: Manage the loading and unloading of pallets, ensuring every step is carried out safely and efficiently.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Attention to Detail: Your role will include crimping vials to secure closures and safeguard the contents, crucial for maintaining the highest safety standards.
Preparation and Assembly: Assemble syringes and swabs in ziplock bags, adhering strictly to prescribed guidelines to ensure patient safety and care.
Operational Support: Assist in waste disposal and uphold the cleanliness of the shipping area, keeping our workspace organized and efficient.
Qualifications:
Educational Foundation: A high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations is preferred, but not required—we provide comprehensive training.
Capabilities: You should thrive in a fast-paced setting, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and various tasks is key.
Benefits:
- Salary: $15/hr
- Bonus based on company and personnel performance
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks/80 hours of PTO provided after the first year of employment.
Additional Information:
This position is full-time with the opportunity for contract-to-hire after 13 weeks. We offer first and second shift options with local travel requirements. We are looking to fill multiple positions.
