Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cookies, and desserts based on catering menus and production needs
- Scale and follow recipes with consistency and accuracy
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and Pastry Lead to plan weekly bakes and production timelines
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety standards
- Label, store, and rotate baked goods for event prep and delivery
- Assist in packaging and prepping baked items for transport to offsite events
- Operate commercial baking equipment (mixers, convection ovens, proofers, etc.)
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of professional baking experience (commissary or catering preferred)
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and production sheets
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working early mornings and in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
