What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty - School of Business position at Southern Adventist University?
Job Summary : The School of Business is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach face-to-face courses on the university campus in one or more of the following areas : accounting, finance, business analytics, and other general business-related courses. We are looking for dedicated, dependable, Christian individuals who love students, love teaching, and preferably have some teaching experience.
Job Duties :
- Prepare instructional materials and instructs students in Speech or other Communication courses
- Perform duties associated with instructing and assessing student progress in a timely manner, including grading and required record keeping based on university guidelines
- Use strong organizational and time management skills to teach well-prepared classes
- Mentor and nurture students with a compassionate Christlike spirit for the purpose of supporting and encouraging them academically and spiritually
Minimum Requirements : Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in a business discipline.
Salary Schedule : Salary is based upon a per course fee as determined by the University. No benefits are offered for this position.
