Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for handling the receipt, storage, and shipment of products in a warehouse environment. The individual in this role will perform a variety of tasks, including inventory management, packing, order picking, and ensuring that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
Receiving Shipments: Unload incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documentation, and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
Inventory Management: Organize and maintain stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and report discrepancies.
Order Picking: Select, pack, and prepare products for shipment based on customer orders. Ensure orders are filled accurately and on time.
Shipping and Receiving: Assist with the preparation of shipments and the return of defective or unwanted goods. Prepare labels, documents, and other necessary items for dispatch.
Material Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts to move goods within the warehouse.
Quality Control: Ensure products are inspected for quality and report any issues to the supervisor.
Maintaining a Clean and Safe Warehouse: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, following all safety protocols. Report any hazards to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipments, and receipts. Handle necessary documentation for the shipping and receiving process.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to ensure efficient operations.
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Time management skills
- Basic software understanding
- Self-motivation
Physical Work Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.
- The employee is regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus.
