What are the responsibilities and job description for the Critical Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position at Southern Anesthesia Management?
Seeking a PA or NP to join an established group with a collaborative team model that provides comprehensive critical care in the ICU setting. An established division of a large, well-respected anesthesia group dedicated to providing evidence based care to patients at multiple community hospitals in the Birmingham area. Must be self-motivated; have good communication skills; be able to work as a team player; exhibit flexibility and possess the desire to practice with a high level of autonomy in critical situations with physician support.
This position will include responsibility of performing a mixture of 12 and 8 hour work shifts, with limited night and weekend coverage. Average work week will range from 35-40 hours with considerable block time off. Compensation includes a competitive base salary (with opportunity for self-promotion) and monthly productivity bonus along with a full and generous benefit package. Benefits include CME/License allowance, Health/Dental Insurance, LTD insurance, HSA account and 401k w/ generous employer contribution (regardless of employee contribution).
