Job Title: Staff Attorney – Show Low & Fort Apache, AZ
Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. is hiring an attorney to work in its White Mountain Legal Services Office (located in Show Low, Arizona) and its White Mountain Apache Legal Services Office (located in Fort Apache, Arizona).
About the Position:
The program serves nine counties in Arizona and eleven Indian Reservations. The Show Low office services Navajo, Apache, and Gila Counties. The Fort Apache Office serves Apache County, located in Northeastern Arizona in the scenic White Mountain area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with low-income and community groups in a multi-cultural setting.
- Represent clients in general civil practice cases on behalf of the low-income community.
- Collaborate with staff to provide legal services to those in need.
Requirements:
- A member of the Arizona Bar or eligible for admission.
- Zero to five years' experience in general civil practice.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Benefits:
- Salary range $58,656 - $101,915 DOE.
- Up to five percent additional compensation for individuals fluent in Spanish.
