AUCTION BLOCK ASSOCIATE-PART TIME
Job Summary:
The Auction Block Clerk reports to the Auction Block Staff Supervisor. While on the Auction Block, the Auction Block Associate enters into the computer vehicle sale information and bids that the Auctioneer calls out in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. information. Superior customer service is expected at all times.
Compensation:
v Guaranteed eight hours of pay at $14 per hour

Responsibilities:
v Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times
v Enter into the computer information according to legal and auction guidelines
v Keep up with bids the Auctioneer calls out
v Assist customers with questions and concerns in a friendly, courteous manner
v Maintain a positive Auction Block station team atmosphere through communication and example
Dress Code:
v Business casual, neat and clean and well groomed
v No open toed shoes, jeans, T-Shirts, sweatshirts, spandex,
v Modest weather appropriate attire
v Body art and piercing other than ears, are to be taken out or covered at all times
Requirements:
v High School diploma or equivalent
v Must be 18 years of age or older
v Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
v Basic computer and data entry skills
v The position requires sitting, standing and reaching
Work Environment:
The environment of the Block clerk involves working at the Auction Block stations as the vehicles
are passing through the lanes. The Auction Block clerks in this position are subject to temperature changes, weather conditions, elevated noise levels and at times, fumes and odors associated with the vehicle exhaust
