Southern Auto Group would like to help you get out of the house and into a Part-Time money maker. We are looking to add a Part-Time Shuttle Driver to our growing team!
As a Part-Time Shuttle Driver, your job couldn't be easier.....and requires you to be extremely cautious and courteous. Each and every day, customers bring their vehicles into our Service Department for repairs. Often times, those repairs could take quite a long time, and the customer may decide that they would like to go home instead of waiting for repair completion. This is where YOU come in. If approved, a Service Advisor will ask you to please, safely give our customer a ride home until repairs are done. It is important to note that WE WILL ONLY TAKE THE CUSTOMER HOME!!!! Not a quick run by the store an no swinging by Wal-Mart for a few things. HOME!!! We will also pick them up from the same location where they were originally dropped off. This ensures a route that has already been noted by our service department, as well as safety for you as well as the customer.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, some detailing experience, a general mechanical aptitude, an unrestricted driver's license, and a clean driving record, and can drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles. Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world-class customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Safely transport Service customers to and / or from their residence ONLY
- Inspect vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories
- Park vehicles in assigned areas
- Catalogs and stores keys
- Helps to transport vehicles to and from off-site
- Transport vehicles between locations as needed
- Other duties may be assigned
