This is a remote position available to candidates residing in AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TN, or TX.
Position SummaryThis role is responsible for managing the debit card program at Southern Bancorp and will collaborate on the development of new payment solutions as they are introduced.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Manage debit cards, credit wires, ACH, debit card vendors, and alternative payment vendor relationships while ensuring an optimized customer experience and adherence to service level agreements.
- Work closely with the Retail team to develop payment products that meet the daily needs of consumer and commercial customers.
- Oversee the debit card portfolio to ensure revenues, costs, and performance meet expectations.
- Collaborate with Product and Retail leadership to design and implement a new credit card program.
- Identify and drive initiatives to prevent and reduce losses related to payments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of experience in financial payment solutions, including credit and debit cards.
- Proven track record of developing and launching payment solutions.
- Strong understanding of compliance laws, regulations, fraud management, and financial services impacting the payments industry.
- Demonstrates change agent behavior and helps others navigate change.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
